Leadership

I was hired as a senior android developer with 3 other developers to build the company’s first mobile application to store patient health records with an end-to-end encryption. The underlying sdks #1 #2 was since open sourced.

In 2020, as the company’s focus shifted towards COVID-19 research, I took the lead in merging the mobile team with the SDK team and spearheaded the development of a new application using Kotlin Multiplatform. In this role, I successfully built the foundation of the new application, with the common code housing the business logic and external interface communications, while the platform-specific code focused solely on presentation. This approach resulted in improved efficiency, code sharing, and faster development cycles.

It was my first leadership role where I was able to design the structure of the app and the underlying SDK.
